I did not think of arriving at Meta-Post – II  just after one regular post which came after another Metapost.

I did not think that I will update this blog so late, almost 10 Months !!!

And I am not able to find any other way rather than to go deeper into Philosophy of Mathematics.

I understand that one of the job for Set Theory is to form foundation of Mathematics. I can feel beauty of Number theory and Geometry. We can discuss over problems in Group Theory from Bourbaki’s books. And yes we can plan out study of Category theory. However without discussing Logic, without getting into Philosophy of Mathematics, the essence of this Blog – to discuss on Mathematical Realism, will suffer. There must be some discussion on Formal System, Realism, Platonism, Predicate Calculus, Frege, Russell and Aristotelian Logic.  It is great to do typical Mathematics, however the fabrics of Mathematics must be known, or some know how of constructs of Mathematical machinery must be in place, so that there should be an intent to deal with seemingly disparate section of Mathematics in a connected way.

Thus contrary to what I wrote in my earlier MetaPost, I will discuss more on Philosophy of Mathematics, finishing Axiom of Choice in between and till we touch Peano’s Axioms and Cantor’s Transfinite. We will hear these names too frequently – Plato, Aristotle, Frege, Cantor, Dedekind, Russell, Quine, Church, Gödel and Turing and ofcourse many others whom I have not yet met .

Hopefully this MetaPost will not qualify to NULL and Void.
